Spiders? No problem.

Tired of throwing shoes and rolling up newspapers to eliminate your household predators? Use the Bug Vacuum for the low cost of $49.99 and never have to stress over bugs again! In our groups today we came up with a radio ad for the Bug Vacuum. Its starts off with a couple, Mitch and Tiffany, throwing a housewarming party in their new home.

SFX: (Laughter, talking/chatter)
Random: "Congrats on the new home, it looks great."
Mitch and Tiffany: "Why thank you, we are glad."
Tiffany: "I'm going to use the restroom."
SFX: (Seconds pass) Door down the hall closes
SFX: Loud scream-"AHHHH!"(from behind the bathroom door)
a moment of silence...
Tiffany: SPIDER!
(Gasps come throughout the house)(mostly females)
SFX: A stampede of feet running down the hallway to help
SFX: More screams accompanied by

  • Shoes banging on walls
  • thumping
  • Newspapers smacking
Mitch: "It's on the run!!"
SFX: Feet chasing.....skids to a stop.
SFX: the sound of an intense vacuum and a "Clunk" (spider got sucked up)
Random: "Good thing I got you guys this Bug Vacuum!"
Tiffany: "There's another one,GET IT!"
SFX: Sounds of a war cry coming from all the guest, along with the bug vacuum fading in the distance.

Trying to sell a typewriter as a "fresh" product in today's world would be asking for failure. In our group today we discussed how it would be possible to come up with a way to sell a typewriter to a mid-life, tech-savvy, affluent person in today's society. We came up merely just technical difficulties or in other words, things that just annoy us while we are working on our actual laptops, such as computer crashing, no need for plug-ins, no losing data and other things like that. We also came up with our own slogan to bring a catch to it, "Out with the new, in with the old." Also here's a quick advertisement I threw together.

Jeeps for the Peeps

In our group activity before spring break, my group and I choose a commercial approach to selling the product. We decided to show how the jeep can be ease of use for older and younger generations by having a grandfather teaching his grandson/daughter how to drive in a more rugged terrain to show the durability of the suv. We also decided to have the grandfather showing the grandson/daughter some of the features on the suv that help him a lot and will also her her/him. Overall we wanted the consumers to see that all generations can drive this car in any environment that surrounds them and, of course, a good price.
